  • I would say that most people cannot handle an "open relationship." As humans, it isn't that we are monogamous by nature, because we aren't. What we are is territorial. In every example in the article, people were only concerned with who their partner was (or wasn't) involved with.

  • What this does is close the loop. MySpace is taking aim at the likes of Yahoo. Everyone wants to bee Yahoo. Google and AOL are both working on the same plan. In the old days we called this a portal site. It isn't a portal site anymore, now it is a homebase.

  • Call me a snob, but I generally write off anyone who injects "Are you on myspace?" into a conversation. From what I can tell, MySpace is a giant hub of image driven, self absorbed, low brow, base level interaction. No doubt it is appealing to teens.
